Infrared camera with long-wave Quantum Well Infrared Photodetector (QWIP) for scientific applications
The ThermaCAM™ SC 3000 incorporates leading edge QWIP technology, providing outstanding image resolution and unparalleled temperature measurement capabilities.
Ultra-high thermal sensitivity, extremely wide dynamic range, revolutionary longwave imaging performance and high speed data acquisition make the SC 3000 an advanced solution for IR temperature measurement and thermal analysis in non-destructive evaluation, product design and research and development.
Advanced cooled longwave Quantum Well Infrared Photodetector (QWIP)
Proprietary-designed (QWIP) FPA sensor is the most modern IR detector technology available. Extraordinary long-wave (8 to 9µm) imaging performance provides ultra-precise measurement accuracy, low atmospheric attenuation, and superior image resolution of 320 X 240 pixels.
Superior thermal sensitivity
QWIP sensor technology delivers ultra high sensitivity of less than 20 mK at 30°C providing the lowest noise thermal image available.
Broad dynamic range
With its outstanding image stability and uniformity, the SC 3000 is ideal for applications where precision temperature measurements from -20°C to +2000°C and high sensitivity are required. Multiple temperature ranges offer optimal measurement for varying applications, target size, distance and speed. Analyze individual frames that cover extremely wide temperature measurement ranges and still be able to detect minute thermal differences.
High speed data acquisition
Capture and store thermal images and data at extremely high rates of up to 750Hz PAL/900Hz NTSC with ThermaCAM Researcher™ HS package. This package allows extensive analysis of highly dynamic objects and events typically found in R&D / scientific applications.
Real-time 14-BIT digital output, storage and analysis
Utilising the 14-bit digital output connector, the SC 3000 feeds real-time data directly to your desktop PC for recording and analysis. Static 14-bit images can also be stored on the camera’s removable PC cards.
Easy data export and manipulation
Powerful multi-purpose output options and interfaces to suit individual requirements. Export data to Excel, Matlab and other common analysis packages; output as AVI files; interface with NI LabView™.
A wide range of optics
Allows users to adapt the SC 3000 to varying applications and measure extremely small and/or distant targets without
sacrificing image quality, resolution or sensitivity.
Rugged system
Ruggedly built, IP 54 rated, the ThermaCAM™ SC 3000 provides resistance to dust and moisture.
Compatible with ThermaCAM™ Researcher™ software
The ThermaCAM SC 3000 feeds real-time data directly to your notebook or desktop PC for recording and analysis. Coupled with FLIR Systems ThermaCAM Researcher software, the SC 3000 allows in-depth, extensive thermal analysis of both static and dynamic images. Including 50 Hz real-time digital recording and evaluation of high-speed events. With the ThermaCAM Researcher HS option, thermal images can be captured and stored at extremely high frame rates of up to 750 Hz PAL/900 Hz NTSC.
ThermaCAM Researcher has been especially developed for Research and Development professionals, scientists that want a detailed static or real-time analysis of thermal processes. Windows® Based and extremely versatile to use ThermaCAM Researcher adds a new level of power and flexibility to thermal imaging by offering extensive analysis capabilities as well as high speed data acquisition.
ThermaCAM Researcher offers powerful built-in measurement and analysis functions for fast and extensive temperature analysis including isotherms and spot measurement, line profiles, area histograms, image subtraction capability and much more.
